Meta Data

Each site can have customisable information and metadata configured, which is displayed across apps and web pages wherever the site appears. Additional settings can be applied on a per site basis when configuring sites.


Navigate to Site Manager

Display Information

Follow these steps to configure display information:

  1. Click View Sites | the site list will be displayed

  2. Enter a search term, Name | click Search

  3. Click Meta

  4. Update the following as required

    • Site Name

    • Show As Coming Soon - Yes / No drop down, this enables a site to be shown as coming soon within White Label App

    • Thumbnail Image - displayed within site lists

      • Click Add Image

    • About - text to describe the site

    • Address Details

    • Latitude / Longitude - when defined this will specify a location and if guests are ordering outside of this area (in conjunction with the distance tolerance) warn them to check they are in the correct location

    • Distance Tolerance - value in metres to define how far from the location before the warning to guests is prompted

      • Adjust the physical location by moving the pin on the map to the exact position required

    • Timezone

    • Contact & Social Channels

  5. Click Save Changes

Ordering

Ordering enables configuration and behaviour setting for order modes on a per site and sales area basis.

Follow these steps to configure ordering:

  1. Click View Sites | the site list will be displayed

  2. Enter a search term, Name | click Search

  3. Click Meta | click Ordering tab

  4. Set the following as required, on a site basis

    • Can Browse Menus - enables guests to view menus only

    • Can Place Order - enables guests to add items to the basket and complete an order

    • Order Modes - sets which order modes are available at the given site

    • Show Site in App - shows / hides the site

  5. Delayed Ordering enables orders to be placed but for a future time, set the following as required

    • Timeslot and Capacity Settings at Site level

    • Timeslot and Capacity Settings at Sales Area level - when selected each sales will enable configuration of the same settings as Site Level Delayed Order Settings

  6. Site Level Delayed Order settings enables configuration of each order mode (that supports delayed ordering) to ensure orders are balanced and sites (or sales areas) are overloaded

    • Timeslots Interval - interval dictates the frequency of the timeslots available to select by the guest, in minutes

    • Timeslots Buffer - buffer dictates the period of time before the user can make a time selection, in minutes

    • Timeslots Capacity - capacity dictates the amount of orders that can be accepted for each timeslot, in quantity

  7. Minimum Spend settings enables the configuration of a minimum spend per order mode, set the following as required

    • Inherit - set against estate spending constraints

    • Set Custom Value - when selected a value can be set

    • Set No Minimum Spend - when selected no minimum spend is required

  8. Maximum Spend settings enables the configuration of a maximum spend per order mode, set the following as required

    • Inherit - set against estate spending constraints

    • Set Custom Value - when selected a value can be set

    • Set No Maximum Spend - when selected no maximum spend is required

  9. The following settings can be customised on a per sales area level

    • Ordering Modes

      • Browse Menus

      • Place Orders

      • Order Modes Available

      • Enable Sales Area

    • Delayed Order Settings (if set to Sales Area)

    • Minimum Spend

    • Maximum Spend

  10. Click Save

Taxes

The VAT number is displayed on email receipts when placing orders for the selected site.

Follow these steps to configure taxes:

  1. Click View Sites | the site list will be displayed

  2. Enter a search term, Name | click Search

  3. Click Meta | click Taxes tab

  4. Set the following as required

    • Inherit Brand VAT Number

      Brand VAT number is configured in App Manager | Configure | Estate Settings
    • Set Custom VAT Number

    • Apply Brand Settings to either

      • This Site

      • Multiple Sites

        • Select Groups or Sites to apply

  5. Click Save Changes

Temporary Site Closures

Temporary site closures can be applied to a site for Web Ordering.

Follow these steps to apply a temporary closure:

  1. Click View Sites | the site list will be displayed

  2. Enter a search term, Name | click Search

  3. Click Meta | click Temporary Site Closure tab

  4. Click the Closure Start Date, set the required date and time

  5. Click the Closure End Date, set the required date and time

  6. Click Save Changes

Sales Areas

Additional customisable information can be applied to sales areas within the site to provide additional branding and naming.

Follow these steps to configure sales areas:

  1. Click View Sites | the site list will be displayed

  2. Enter a search term, Name | click Search

  3. Click Meta | click Sales Areas

  4. Update the following as required, for each sales area listed

    • Sales Area Friendly Name

    • Description

    • Thumbnail Image - displayed within site lists

      • Click Add Image

    • Inherit Latitude and Longitude (from site) or Set Latitude and Longitude

    • Inherit Distance Tolerance (from site) or Set Distance Tolerance

    • Telephone Number

  5. Click Save Changes
